Although there is still no cure for scleroderma, the symptoms can be treated, and annual check-ups are crucial for letting your doctor know what treatment you need. If any of these tests is not being done and you think it should be, tell your doctor. Some doctors will have more experience than others, and if you need to, take this leaflet with you when you ask for a specific test. Don’t be afraid to ask – all of these tests should be done regularly.
